Venison bratwurst, get in my belly!

Interest in wild game is at an all-time high and venison bratwurst is an amazing (and delicious) way to step out a little from your normal comfort zone.

You won't always be able to find venison bratwurst locally so you may need to make your own, which can sound daunting but is actually fairly simple if you have access to the right equipment to make sausage at home.

You'll need to mix in a meat with higher fat content -- usually pork -- with your ground venison, as otherwise your brats will likely dry out and not be juicy and plump as they should be.

Garlic shrimp and quinoa, get in my belly!

This garlic shrimp and quinoa dish not only tastes great but is pretty damn healthy as well.

Quinoa is the new hip seed (it's actually not a grain like many people think) and garlic and shrimp are a tried and true marriage.

Put them all together and you have a quick and easy lunch or dinner that takes very little time to prepare and tastes awesome.
